“Accademia Organistica Udinese” Cultural Association, in a “partnership agreement” with Muzzana del Turgnano Municipality (Udine), in collaboration with “Società per la Conservazione della Basilica di Aquileia” Foundation, with Muzzana del Turgnano,
Lignano Sabbiadoro and Marano Lagunare Parishes, announces the VII International Organ Competition “Organi Storici del Basso Friuli” Udine - Italy for the enhancement of its precious instruments, which will take place in the respective Parish Churches and in the Patriarchal Basilica in Aquileia from 27th September to 1st October 2021.
Prize Franz Zanin
As part of the Competition, in collaboration with Camino al Tagliamento Municipality, the “IV Prize Franz ZANIN” is awarded, in memory of the great organ builder of Camino al Tagliamento, a prominent figure in the art of organ building in Friuli and throughout Italy.
The Prize will be awarded during a concert that will be organized in the Pieve di Rosa (Camino al Tagliamento).
Prize Gustavo Zanin
As part of the Competition, in collaboration with Codroipo Municipality, the “I Prize Gustavo ZANIN” is awarded, in memory of the industrious organ builder, to who the University of Udine has conferred the degree honoris causa in History of Art and
Conservation of Historical and Artistic Heritage.
The Prize will be awarded during a concert that will be organized in San Valeriano Church, in Codroipo.
